Discharge figures response shootout - New survey

Recently a Durban conveyancer mentioned in his weekly newsletter that conveyancers are measured by the banks on their turnaround times to get the bonds registered.

He then continued to say that in this same process, the conveyancer has to receive discharge figures from the existing bond institution, and that all too often the reponse is not up to scratch. He also then listed his personal 'awards' to the various banks.

So we decided that it would be a good idea to give conveyancers an opportunity to voice their opinions (without having a bull's eye painted on their foreheads!) to tell us which bank is the slowest at producing discharge figures, and hopefully next month, we can have the best performing banks.

I know this is a little off the beaten track of technology, but I do believe this will help speed things up in the future, and allow lawyers to practice law more efficiently.
