Go to http://www.cipro.co.za and select to "Name Search" on the left hand side of the CIPRO home page. Type in the name of the company or CC you are looking for (or a few letters from the name) and then click on the ‘search' button. After a few seconds, a list of all the matching enterprise names will be displayed. For more information on an enterprise, simply click on the name, and you will be taken to the details page. |

I have already responded to most of these comments in a private email - but here is the general answer.
CIPRO is a government institution and any enquiries must be directed at them, or your current accounting firm.
The site is www.cipro.gov.za they do have an equiry section on their page to look up company registration names.
I would do the enquiry by phone or via my accountants, CIRPO is not doing well under the pressure of late.
