New Chief Technology Officer Appointment at L@W

lawyers_access_webL@W Active (L@W) are delighted to announce the appointment of Robert Boccia as its new Chief Technology Officer. Robert has more than 20 years of technology experience. He joins L@W from Microsoft, where he is currently their CIO Africa. Robert starts with L@W in late July and will lead the overall technology direction of L@W and its various subsidiaries.

He will also form part of the ManCo team with Simon Slater, Nik Steffny, Luis Casaleiro and Nicky Roberts.

L@W's current CTO, Craig Leppan, is leaving to join Ovations in Johannesburg in a business development role. L@W has however engaged Craig as a contractor to continue to lead various key projects for the rest of the year. Craig will spend at least two days a week with L@W and will continue to be available to our banking clients in particular.

L@W would like to sincerely thank Craig for his significant contribution and commitment to L@W over the last 5 years and wishes him well in this new role.
He successfully led and implemented some major innovation projects at L@W.
