A man was acquitted in Bethlehem recently as the SAPS Chemical Science Laboratory referred to Wikipedia on the similarity between a liquid chemical substance GBL (gamma butyrolactone) and GBH (gammahydroxybutyrate - liquid ecstacy). The basis of the case was that GBL is the same as GBH.
One must assume the Magistrate ignored this evidence as Wikipedia allows anybody to submit and change data, a little to lax for convicting evidence.

I would imagine that once you have finished doing research in Wikipedia, you should check the information on more structured sources if you are going to use it in court.
