Hi Malcolm

I read with interest your article on the above.

Both L@W and Korbitec should have access to the Metro electronic link and any other service provider for that matter so that we can chose which vendor to use.

The turn around time is still hopelessly slow. It should be 24hrs and not 5 days! The Metro needs to have a service level agreement where they promise to deliver the attorneys report within a defined period.

The profession assists them in collecting millions in unpaid rates and utility charges and gets no recognition for this. The Metro should consult with us more and come up with a billing system that is easy to comprehend and user friendly.

Attached to every report should be a detailed statement of the rates and utility charges for the preceding year.

The Metro also needs to look at its systems for rates refunds which take ages with no provision for interest.
