A couple of issues ago, I mentioned that it was time for conveyancers to stick together and tell the vendors to sort out their systems without detriment to their own service or systems. Well I would like to tell you that it happened, but it seemed to be more so from the Durban Rates Department who stuck to their guns and altered the manual submissions and stopped email applications to force one of the vendors to step back into line. Back to normal then? Not really….they (vendors) need to test the compatibility of the two systems. There have been letters circulated from vendors and the Ethekwini Municipality. Until testing is completed I think it wise to use the direct L@W Web Application RCC system.
