FORM LLL Amendment 18 of the Deed Registries Act

Just to clarify the position:

  1. Form LLL is completed and lodged in respect of the transferee(s) of the property (thus the duty is on the transferring attorney to lodge the same);
  1. where there is no simultaneous transfer of the property, the Form LLL is completed and lodged in respect of the registered owner(s) of the property (thus if only a bond cancellation is being lodged, the bond cancellation attorney must lodge the Form LLL and if for instance only a bond registration is being lodged, the bond registration attorney must lodge the Form LLL); and
  1. the Form LLL must be stapled to the inside of the lodgment cover.
