24th December 2025 – Close at 10am
25th and 26th December 2025 – Closed
29th and 30th December 2025 – Normal hours with skeletons
31st December 2025 – Close at 10am
1st January 2026 – Closed
2nd January 2026 – Normal hours with skeletons.
Deeds lodged on or before 12th December 2025 will be prioritised for registration by 23rd December 2025. Please note deeds lodged from the 15th December 2025 may only be registered from January 2026.
Registration/execution of deeds will take place from 8:30 to 10:00 and 11:00 to 12:30 from the 15th to the 23rd of December 2025. Requests for late registrations will be considered until 12:00.
No lodgement nor registrations will take place on the 24th of December 2025 and the 31st of December 2025.
Information section will be closed from the 24th of December 2025 and will reopen on the 5th of January 2026.
The last day for submission of all applications in respect of Cape Town requests is the 12th of December 2025. Any requests they after will not be processed until the 5th of January 2026.
Old Deeds Office accounts must be settled by the 24th of December 2025 and proof of payment must be sent to the alicia.watermeyer@deeds.gov.za
