Please be advised that in accordance with the LOCKDOWN LEVEL 4 SCHEDULE and the opening of the DEEDS OFFICE, the Msunduzi Rates Department will be opening as of 4 May 2020, under the following conditions:
– We will be operating with a SKELETON STAFF on a rotational basis and within limited working hours.
– Due to Social Distancing guidelines and in the best interest of the health and safety of the Rates staff, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ACCESS TO THE RATES DEPARTMENT, BY THE PUBLIC, CONVEYANCERS OR CONVEYANCING STAFF, ESTATE AGENTS ETC. BE PERMITTED.
As there is currently a backlog of applications due to the lockdown, I request that you be mindful thereof and not overwhelm the department with queries, emails or telephone calls. We will endeavor to clear this backlog as quickly as possible and humbly request your co-operation herein.
