Two weeks ago we posted about how IP theft was (yet again) a serious threat for our business and (yet again) we were using technology to fight it. Two LinkedIn friends Thomas Pearson and Terry Harrison posted advice in the comments and this got us thinking. Why are lawyers copying and sharing our content?

So we decided to stop fighting this challenge (its just too pervasive in this legal profession) and instead embrace it and turn it into opportunity:
We made a package for law firms, THE SPARTAN BULK DEAL where we totally slashed the prices and made the case law available to the entire firm, including CAs, paralegals, support staff, PAs and secretaries, ANYONE with the firm email.
It’s a waste of time to copy our stuff now because EVERYONE HAS ACCESS.
Two birds killed with one stone. Sales are up and IP theft is down.
