The annual SASLAW conference aims to bring together labour law practitioners, HR & IR professionals, trade union officials, public sector employees, and all those interested in the discipline of labour law.
The SASLAW conference committee has decided to host a Hybrid event and the conference has been postponed to the 5th and 6th November. Much thought, planning, discussions with suppliers, and stakeholders has gone into this decision. More and more international Associations are planning Hybrid events. The committee is confident and positive that this approach will work in November, and are committed to hosting a high level, informative and interesting conference, while taking into account all the regulations in place at the time to ensure the health and safety of all involved.
The conference will take place physically at the Focus Rooms, Linbro Park in Johannesburg and attendance will be in accordance with the regulations at the time. All necessary social distancing, sanitising, and catering changes have been attended to at the venue. Delegates will receive face shields, and the programme will be adapted to allow for staggered lunch and tea breaks.
The venue is airy and spacious. The committee has engaged with a Virtual Conference company, My Planner and they will run the virtual side of the conference.
Please advise your preferred method of attendance by clicking on either of the buttons below. The conference administration stresses that they will be flexible, if at any time you wish to change your preference. Registered delegates will be kept abreast of any changes in regulations in the coming months.
There are however a limited number of physical spaces at the venue.
