Leaving your law firm

Last year, I ended a relationship. I did not get a divorce. But it felt like one. I left the law firm where I had worked for the past 12 years. The place I started, spent my entire legal career, and where I was taught my specialty. The place where I made friends and found a mentor. They became more than an employer — there was a time I considered them family.
