Hosted Ai in Law Firms

One way to stay secure in the mad race for Ai, is by firms hosting their own AI. This means running the software on your own private servers rather than sending data to an outside company.

How it works:

  • Private Data: The AI is given access to the firm’s internal library of past contracts, case files, and emails. Because the system is “self-hosted,” this information never leaves the firm’s secure environment.
  • External Sources: The firm can also feed the AI verified, reputable external sources, such as public legal databases or government statutes, to keep it updated on current laws.
  • The Benefit: The AI uses the firm’s private expertise combined with external legal knowledge to draft documents or research cases, all while keeping client confidentiality locked down behind the firm’s own security walls.

It’s essentially building a “walled garden” where the AI becomes an expert on the firm’s specific work without ever risking a data breach.

Tomorrow at 4pm, this will be our discussion – how can you create your own “walled” Ai solution inside your law firm.
