The Commonwealth Law Conference is back to the African Continent and will be held for the first time in Zambia. It will be hosted from 8th to 12th April, 2019 in Livingstone, a city known for its natural beauty and the magnificent Victoria Falls.
Commonwealth Lawyers Association alongwith the Law Association of Zambia will be presenting to you the 21st Commonwealth Law Conference on the theme: “The Rule of Law in Retreat? Challenges for the Modern Commonwealth.”
The Commonwealth Law Conference has always been a unique event attracting the legal fraternity spread over the continents by offering a platform to discuss topical issues. We will be focusing on various streams on Corporate & Commercial, Constitutional & Human Rights, Legal & the Judicial Profession and also Contemporary Legal topics.
At the conference, the young and veterans of the profession will be sharing their experience, from home and regional jurisdictions and from across the continents. Formal and informal interactions during the conference offer a unique experience of learning. It also offers an opportunity for delegates to interact with their counterparts from different jurisdictions in areas of their interest and expertise. This process also presents an opportunity to make friends and strengthen friendships already made.
