Commissioning affidavits with video
Signing a signature with a classic fountain pen

We had a great first forum on the technology and the law for commissioning remotely. Neil Summers (Moonstone) chaired the session with Malcolm Pearson (Tech4Law) and Louis Podbielski. There were good comments from the audience and Piérre Hough and Johan Moorcroft gave useful insights. if you missed the forum, you can watch the recording below.

And please also join our LinkedIn group Tech Talk Legal here https://lnkd.in/gtnNWWTg and contribute to the sharing of case law and ideas for making the processing of legal documents faster, safer and more efficient.

As promised in the session, here are the four cases that were discussed, with links to the PDF judgments for reading or downloading:

There is a plan to have a follow up webinar, where Neil will discuss the electronic signature process and also will cover the inclusion of video in the e-process. It is estimated for Friday 18th February 2022 at 11AM – more information will follow when the event has been confirmed. If you need us to email details, drop us a line at malcolmp@tech4law.co.za.
