A rather active topic on “audit/advisory firms drafting legal documents” has been started and well monitored by Denis Warren-Tangney a director at Thomson Wilks Incorporated.
He initiated the topic with this comment, “We received confirmation from the Law Society today: it is a criminal offense for anyone other than a practicing attorney to charge for drafting a Memorandum of Incorporation.”
You would need to be a member of LinkedIn, logged in and subscribe to the “Lawyers of South Africa”, which by the way has 2 217 subscribers – so you really should be following this group anyway.
Well done Denis, a good topic and well monitored with regular feedback and comments.
