SADC Lawyers Association Conference in Cape Town 2016

The LSSA would like to invite you to register soon for the 17th SADC Lawyers Association Conference and General Meeting in Cape Town next month. This is only the second time this conference is being held in South Africa; the previous time was in the year 2000.

This conference poses a unique opportunity for you to meet and network with colleagues from the SADC region.

The conference is being held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre on 18 and 19 August. A welcome cocktail function the evening of 17 August will give delegates a stunning view of the city from the top floor of FNB Portside, the tallest green building at the Cape Town Foreshore. The closing gala dinner will be held in the Ballroom at the CTICC on 19 August.

To create a forum for delegates to interact directly, a special law firm networking session is scheduled for Friday afternoon, 19 August. Koos Pretorius from ENSAfrica will introduce the session with a presentation focusing on ‘Working across borders in the SADC region and throughout the rest of the African continent:

The use of collaborative alliances, legal networks and integrated law firms to service your clients wherever they do business in Africa’.
