Office 2024 is now available for a one-time purchase on Mac and Windows. Office 2024 includes the usual Microsoft apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote) and costs $149.99 for one PC or Mac. For another $100, you can get Office Home & Business 2024, which includes Outlook and the option to use the apps for commercial purposes.
The one-time license is an alternative for those who don’t want to pay $69.99 annually for Microsoft 365. “We know some of our customers still prefer a non-subscription way to access our familiar apps, which is why we’re releasing Office 2024,” Microsoft says.
