Canon Europe, world-leader in imaging solutions, has announced the launch of six new A4 black and white imageRUNNER ADVANCE devices; iR ADV 525i, iR ADV 525iZ, iR ADV 615i, iR ADV 615iZ, iR ADV 715i, and iR ADV 715iZ. The imageRUNNER ADVANCE 525/615/715 II series will replace the existing 400i/500i models in the range, while offering a significant upgrade for users in terms of speed, productivity and security features.
The new devices are equipped with all the benefits of the existing third generation portfolio, including the newest Unified Firmware Platform, uniFLOW Online Express and enhanced security.
CONSTRUCTED FOR EFFICIENCY
Up to 30% faster than its predecessor with speeds reaching up to 71ppm, the latest entry-level line-up is reliable and compact, perfect for small to medium enterprises and public sector offices. Time saving measures such as the new all-in-one cartridge-based technology makes the removal and replacement of toners fuss-free, without the need for a technician. Embedded with all of the hardware benefits of the imageRUNNER Advance third generation, 2nd edition portfolio, the new machines are also equipped with an intuitive user-interface and a colour touch screen for ease of use. Users can enjoy full consistency across the entire platform for a personalised and reliable user experience. The customised displays, settings and functions, help to optimise and streamline workflows.
COST EFFECTIVENESS AT THE CORE
The built-in cloud platform reduces demand on IT resource thanks to the constantly evolving Unified Firmware Platform (UFP). By continually pushing the latest features and updates out to devices, equipment remains fully functional and fully secure with minimal input from users. Customers are secure in the knowledge that their investment is safe, removing the need to change device fleets with every update. Customers can also address the total cost of print with uniFLOW Online Express, which allows integrated cost tracking through visibility and control of the entire print infrastructure. SECURITY BY DESIGN
The new devices have a number of added and enhanced security functions, making it one of the most robust and reliable A4 mono devices available on the market. HDD encryption as standard and user authentication login at device protects confidentiality and strengthens security credentials, even when printing from mobile. To help prevent unauthorised distribution of sensitive information, various device functions can be disabled for individual users, helping meet GDPR requirements.
