Here are a few tips on saving your cell phone’s battery taken from the Cell C Magazine. These should work on all smartphones.
Tune out
Your phone has different power hungry radio chips for phones calls, data connections, Bluetooth and WiFi. Turn off the features you don’t use. After lights out, switch to flight mode, which turns them all off.
Hung up
Some smartphone apps don’t shut down properly and continue to work in the background, using battery power and also fetching data. Most smartphones have a kill switch app.
Sunscreen
Your phone screen uses plenty of power, especially if you have the brightness cranked up to the max. reduce the amount of time to wait before the screen turns off, and avoid animated screen savers.
Bad vibes
Unless you need it, the vibration function wastes energy. Keep your ring tone as quiet as possible.
