We have received confirmation that the decontamination and disinfecting the Polokwane Deeds Office has been completed and OHS has checked the Data-sheet of the chemicals used and they have confirmed that the office is and will be ready for occupation tomorrow morning.
Polokwane Deeds office will open for business tomorrow, Thursday 21 January 2021.

The following feedback was just received from Polokwane Deeds Office.
The Deeds Office decontamination is in process, unfortunately before occupying the office the OHS will have to do the assessment after the 24hours period, OHS will have the do the assessment tomorrow to determine if the office will be ready for occupation and if there smell of the chemicals has been completely out.
Colleagues we are more likely to open the office on Friday 22 January 2021 after the assessment has been completed however If there is anything to the contrary you will be notified accordingly.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused this is beyond our control and this latest confirmed Covid case changed the scope and unfortunately we were forced to have the whole building disinfected accordingly.

Kindly be informed that the Polokwane Deeds Office and Surveyor General will be temporarily closed with effect from today, the 18 January 2021 due to exposure to positive COVID-19 case as one of the deeds office employees has tested positive for the Covid-19.
In terms of the Government Procedure with regards to reported positive case of Covid-19 the Management has to inform Provincial steering committee and immediately close the office so that the process of decontaminating the affected areas can be done.
The office will undergo deep cleaning and disinfection process in line with COVID-19 regulations.
We will be informed of re-opening of the office in due course.
