DEEDS REGISTRIES ACT, 1937 {ACT No. 47 OF 10937): AMENDMENT OF REGULATIONS
In terms of section (9) of the Needs Registries Act, 1937 (Act No. 47 of 1937), |, Angela Thokozile Didiza, Minister for Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development, hereby approves the regulations contained In the Schedule as made by the Deeds Registries Regulations Board under Section 10 of the said Act. The Regulations will come into operation one month from the date of publication here of In the Gazette.

SCHEDULE
- In this Schedule “the Regulations” means-the regulations promulgated by Government Notice No. R. 474 of 29 March 1963, as amended.
- The schedule of Fees of Office as prescribed by regulations 64 and 86 of the Regulations Is hereby substituted for the following Schedule:

(b) For the application and the issuing of a certified copy of a deed in terms of regulation 68(1) 488.00 per copy
(c) For the keeping of a client’s copy of a deed, on approval and at discretion of the registrar 385.00 per copy per year or part thereof

(a) For an enquiry relating to a person, property or deed – R15.00
(b) For a deeds office tracking system enquiry – R15.00
(c) For information regarding the daily transfer of property – R15.00 per property
{d) For the supply of registration information in respect of a series of properties – R15.00 per property
(e) For the supply of an alphabetical list, in electronic format, containing the names of all the townships, or sectional title schemes, or allotment areas, or agricultural holdings, or farms, in a registration office – R228.00 per list
(f} For viewing a deed or document through any electronic system – R15.00 per deed or document
{g} For any unattended continuous search for information including the taking of notes, photographs or voice recordings, for every 30 minutes or part thereof – R22.00
(h) For any enquiry not specially provided for, a fee to be fixed by the registrar, provided the minimum fee shall be – R15.00
{i) For Statistical and Analytical reports consisting of the following records:

(i) 1 to 5 000 – R1 262.00
(ii) 6 001 to 10 000 – R2 419.00
(iii) 10 001 to 100 000 – R3 682.00
(iv) 100 001 to 1 000 000 – R5 260.00
(v) 1 000 001 to 10 000 000 – R7 364.00
(vi) More than 10 000 000 – R10 520, 00
6. For transmitting any certificate, deed, document or any other information by using fax or any other electronic media – R15.00 per page
7. (a) For registering as a DeedsWeb user a non-refundable administration fee of R171.00
{b) For reconnecting a DeedsWeb user whose service has been suspended because of outstanding debts – R228.00
(c} For subscribing as DeedsWeb user – R15.00 per month
8. For any information, copy or other service referred to in this Schedule, other than the per item registration of deeds and documents, which may be required by the Accounting Officer of the Department of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development or her or his delegate, for her or his official purposes. – R0.00 per item
EXEMPTIONS
No fees shall be levied by a registrar in respect of the performance of any act prescribed in section 3(1)(w) of the Act.

Afternoon . Need to get my title deed from FNB as my home is payed in full , I think i fall in the bracket of R2 000.000 plus . But I noticed that on your scale of amounts between R1 000.00 and R2 000.00 is R7283.00 but R2 000.00 to R4 000.000 is R1778.00 . Some thing does not add up ? Thanks Jeff 0832688284
