My friend the wonderful Fred Banning at Pinsents posted on Pulse yesterday about his view of a legal ‘Uber’ (the disruption benchmark de jour), but I’m worried that he, and many others, are missing the point about what’s really disruptive about Uber-style models and why they are more threatening to ‘traditional’ law firms – and to tomorrow’s lawyers.
