Food…No Shabbat meal is complete without left-overs.


Never leave any restaurant empty handed.


It was mealtime on an EL AL (Israeli national airline) flight from Johannesburg to Jerusalem.

“Would you like dinner?” asked the flight attendant.

“What are my choices?” replied South African passenger Moshe.

“Yes or no” replied the flight attendant.


A waiter comes over to a table full of Jewish women at Willoughbys at the V&A Waterfront and asks:

“Is anything alright?”

Jewish mothers:

Anything worth saying is worth repeating a thousand times,


Without Jewish mothers, who would need therapy?


My mother is a typical Jewish mother. Once she was on jury duty. They sent her home because she insisted she was guilty,


Expensive items:

If you have to ask the price at a designer clothing store, you cannot afford it. If you can afford it, make sure to tell everyone what you paid.
