Most people think that ‘Hosted’, ‘ASP’ and ‘Software as a Service’ are new IT concepts. Nope – most definitely wrong. These are just the fancy new names thought up by analysts and marketers like me to re-label a fine old wine that’s been around in various forms since I started in the IT industry 25 years ago.
