The legal industry, fraught with a conservative mindset and steeped in tradition, has been one of the slowest industries to embrace technology-driven change. The pace set by courts, enforcement agencies and governments was never intended to execute at the speed of modern-day businesses. Aged regulations, security needs and more have made it even harder to adopt older technologies like cloud computing.
In spite of this, the pandemic made the case for transformation very compelling, and this journey will likely continue for legal departments for many years.
