I’ve been testing security software for more than 30 years. When I evaluate antivirus apps, I check to make sure they exterminate known malware and that they successfully fend off new malware attacks. Because a phishing attack doesn’t have to evade the operating system or hide from your antivirus. It only has to fool you, the unsuspecting user.
