A good way to tell the state of the current economic situation within a certain market is to find out whether staff / partners / associates received bonuses or not. This will tell us that either things have started turning, or that things are still very gloomy – or at the very least it will tell us what the managing partners of law firms think about the current state of affairs.
I think the results will be very interesting! If things are gloomy, you stay put and don’t put a foot wrong. If things are good, and everybody seems to have received a bonus, but you didn’t, then maybe it is time to start looking around! This poll is completely anonymous, and will take two clicks.
