STEP 1:
CLICK ON: https://www.woza.today/nomination-process to COMPLETE your nomination form
STEP 2:
You may only choose 2 categories per submission
STEP 3:
Upload the following onto the Woza website:
- Letter of motivation;
- Abridged CV (2 pages boasting career highlights post tertiary education)
- High quality photograph
STEP 4:
Press submit.
WHO CAN BE NOMINATED?
- Anyone can nominate, colleagues, peers, staff, friends, family, clients
- Nominations are restricted to two category nominations per candidate
NOMINATION REQUIREMENTS
All nominations submitted shall include the following three documents:
The nomination form:
Specifying the award category, province, be duly signed by the nominator and must be accepted by the nominee;
A cover letter:
Motivating why the candidate is eligible for the award, limited to an A4 page;
An abridged curriculum vitae:
The nominee shall outline all experience and achievements relevant to the category demonstrating why she/the firm is the best candidate for the award, and only post qualifications required, limited to two A4 pages.
NOMINATION CATEGORIES INCLUDE:
A.THE AFRICAN LAW FIRM OF THE YEAR
An international law firm with a foothold in Africa, who has made significant strides in the Development of women in law, whether it is in its women staff development and or Corporate Social Responsibility in women led businesses and or training and development programs.
B. LAW FIRMS
SIX WOZA awards presented to Law firms in recognition of its leadership in fostering an inclusive environment for women lawyers:
AFRICA
A WOMAN ONLY law firm of the year (0 to 5 years in practise)
A Law Firm who has 5 women lawyers or less
A Law Firm who has 6 women lawyers or more
SOUTH AFRICA
A WOMAN ONLY law firm of the year (0 to 5 years in practise)
A Law Firm who has 5 women lawyers or less
A Law Firm who has 6 women lawyers or more
C. INDIVIDUALS
WOZA awards are presented to an individual woman who displays outstanding performance in one or more of the categories below:
(Maximum of two nominations maybe submitted under the Individuals category).

F. THE MALE CHAMPION OF CHANGE AWARD
The Male Champion of Change Award is dedicated to a man of vision, committed to the elevation and acceleration of gender diversity within an organisation, business, society, nationally or internationally recognising and advancing the talents and power of women in leadership fostering gender balanced leadership and equality.
G. PINNACLE AWARD
- WOZA awards the WOZA PINNACLE AWARD to a woman lawyer who displays iconic achievement embracing thought, innovation, leadership, empowerment of other women and contribution to the law. A woman who is distinguishable from the listed individual categories above, because she exemplifies leadership and regarded as a trailblazer.
