What makes this Gigabyte M1022C so great is that it is a netbook, but has the docking station to turn it into a desktop computer. For the attorney who uses this computer for mail, word processing, time billing and browsing research or the web, this unit has exactly what they will need.

Netbooks are becoming more popular by the day and the reason is simple, they are compact and allow email and browsing when the person is away from the office. However up until now people have had a PC or laptop at the office and then took the netbook when travelling. This little gem from Gigabyte now bridges the gap for most business people on the move.
It has two power adapters which allow you to leave your docking station at the office plugged in all the time with the other in your netbook bag/briefcase. The docking station makes it really convenient to plug your netbook into your work environment without having to plug and unplug 4 or 5 cables each time – just place it into the slot and everything is done.
This is no super netbook or notebook, but it does address a very large part of the market. I hear you asking yourself, “Will this be enough for me to use as a permanent replacement for my PC/notebook?” Well at a retail price of around R3199 including VAT, it is worth a try.
Something we would recommend is a memory upgrade to 2Gb. The local model number is 9W1022C-511SZA-D.
