Microsoft is adding a new feature to Windows 11’s Snipping Tool: text extraction. This tool, which has been quite popular in PowerToys, is now being integrated directly into Windows 11’s built-in screenshot app. Previously, users needed to capture a screenshot and open it in the Snipping Tool or Photos app to extract text. Now, with the new update, the process becomes smoother, as users can extract text from their screens without first saving an image, as reported by Windows Latest.
